The Bareback Riders is a team comprised of athletes from all over the globe, united by the common goal of success. We are constantly striving to go one step further and spread the word of the BBR.

You’ve done well to get this far, either you are privileged enough to be a player, have the fortune to know a player or have had the misfortune of reading the website on our back as we ran past you.
The Bareback Riders (BBR) are currently the dominant force in Scottish touch rugby and rapidly becoming a known power house in the greater European community.
Originally set up as a social 7-a-side rugby team a spate of injuries forced our hands to touch, transferring their speed, agility and ball handling skills to touch rugby with ease. Currently two teams operate under this prestigious name; a league team and a tournament team.
